My Pinnacle Studio DV keeps stalling at 04:52mins when I am creating an MPEG file for a Video CD, in Make Movie mode. The movie is about 55mins total. I can 'Make' to tape and to a 'MPEG2' format.
This appears to be a known problem on the MicroSoft Product Support Services site with a number of Q269218. The description is given as: Multiple SCSI Bus Resets Occur with a FireWire (1394) Controler.
My problem is, I am unable to find an email address to contact MicroSoft so I can download the 'fix'. When i follow the MicroSoft instructions I end up going in circles. Very frustrating!
Does anyone know where I can download this 'fix', or suggest a site where I can download it from?

Here (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/directory/worldwide/en-nz/Personal/default.htm) is the support contact phone number for Microsoft in New Zealand. When they say "supported fix" I think this means you get to pay for it!
I found another post (http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t1019906162) about the same problem, but no "fix" was posted.
I can probably aquire the fix for you and mail it to you if you post an e-mail address.
