Depending on where in the Wild West you actually live there are places that will take your old PC parts for recycling.
I see you've already got one taker for some things, so maybe you might be able to dispose of everything here! :D

It is a real problem knowing whether to dispose of items at the local tip, and not just computer parts either, and what & how to go about it.
Some tips operate recycle programs, our local Hutt Valley one doesnt, neither does it allow salvage.
When I asked how to dispose of junk monitors, the answer was just throw them in.
There is a local firm that will take circuit boards, presumably to reclaim gold from the contacts, but I dont know what happens to them subsequently. There must be an awful lot of lead being dumped.
I'm sure local councils could do much more in this regard to educate the public on disposal, be involved in reclaiming and rendering harmless etc, rather than just raising tip fees to discourage waste disposal.

Beat me to it!
That's where my poor old cd writer went when it killed itself.
Recycling rocks, and Dunedin has provisions for just about all types.
Cardboard and glass behind 505 Gt King St. and just about everything is taken behind clubs and socs on albany st between 12 and 2pm mon-sat. And there are cans for cash at woolworths in andy's bay on saturdays, plus the Mobil on the one way into nth Dunedin takes motor oil. Techno Industries of course......
Sorry - my wee bandwagon.
