It will depend on the format of the CD you are burning.

ISO is very restrictive, Juliot less so. Mode 1 only does small files names where mode 2 / XA will do the biggies.

Im not sure about Win-onCD because i am runing of Nero Burning Rom.

My guess is you want to set the format to Juliot mode 2 /xa. But be aware that this will not be able to be read in a lot of CD Drives.

Your problem is related to the Joliet standard being limited to that number of characters by Microsoft when they designed it. I have had a look at some basic FAQs about Win on CD and it appears you cannot do what you want with it at all.

In fact it appears that this restriction may be something you cannot "fix" at all with any burning software although Nero Burning Rom has a setting to allow file pathnames longer than 255 characters (which is the Joliet standard limit for full paths to a file) although I doubt this setting would allow the filename to be any longer.
