Intel (r) celeron win xp.. I can't open the cd tray on the computer??. i last used the cd writer on sunday but am not sure if thers a cd init???i'm .not the only user .When i go to my computer the cd icon is not there beside the floppy disk where it usually is . I can open the flap at front with a small pin but the tray is really stuck.. Any ideas please..?:|

Has some one knocked the tray, it is possible that they have bent one or more of the cogs in the cd. it is very easy replace these. As for the computer not recognising the CD beats me

just a quick thought have you you checked that the power cable and or the data cable are securly plugged in.

You'll void yr warranty if you've got one but why not open the case and have a look? Sounds like some mechanical problem, something bent, jammed, skewiff. :)

Every things plugged in tight as..just have to take her back to shop thanks anyway....
