The enclosed link points to a forum post with a link in the signature that expands when it is clicked. I want to learn how to add this nifty little feature to my personal page, but i'm not sure where to look for this script.
Looking at the HTML source only shows that it is in a file that i guess is part of the 'invision power board' that they use for the site. From looking at invisionboard.com it looks like i cant just look at there Javascript.
I know enough about JS that i can put it in my pages but can't write anything myself.
What I was wondering is has anybody seen anything like this that is open source?

I have found a few scripts that I may be able to make act like i want.
I found them at http://www.codejunction.com/.
I found the link at the bottom of this page that says free PHP scripts.
One is called "Expandable Content" and one is called "Switch Content Script".
Im hoping I can make them look as seamless as the invision one. If and When I get my page looking half ok I will post a link here so everyone can see what I was babling about. :D

I still havent been able to replicate this feature of the IPB system.
This Show/Hide Spoiler thing looks very useful and would like to use it still.
anybody seen anything like it? (unfortunatly the suprnova forums are down at the moment)

All right! I found what I was looking for with the help of jennifer at scriptygoddess (http://www.scriptygoddess.com/)
Here (http://www.scriptygoddess.com/archives/2003/01/16/showhide-anything/) is what I was looking for. I hope if someone else is looking for something like this it helps them.
