i have a multiple choice quiz and the way i did it was i asked the question and then had radio buttons next to the choices and if they clicked the right one the background goes green but if they click the wrong one the background goes red. theres only 10 questions and i wanted to know how i can make it so that it tallys up how much they got wrong or right..I'll attach it in a zip file since its several pages (1 for every question) If anyone has any suggestions..i would appreaciate it...thx in advance

If the user would know at once if his answer is correct or not as he chooses the answer, then all users would have a perfect score!

How do you ensure that the user pick only once and click next? They can pick until they get the correct answer and then click next, can't they?

You need to pass data from one page to another using javascript. And there are several ways (http://www.webxpertz.net/faqs/jsfaq/passvars.php) to do it.
