Word dropdown menus

I read somewhere of a setting or reg fix which when a menu in Word 2000 drops down the whole thing is shown. You don't get the little arrows at the bottom showing there's more.
Does anyone know it?
thanks,
Jack

View|Toolbars|Customize under the 'Options' tab, check 'Always show full menus'.

Can't remember what it was in 2000, but in XP open word select tools>customise>options & check 'always show full menus'

or if it isn't there in 2000 go Tools>options & have a look around there somewhere.

Thanks for those speedy replys. Word 2000 only has 'show full menus after a short delay'. I think there is a fix to have them show straight away

I'm using XP at the moment too. I'll dry and find out tomorrow, but I do know that it is located in a similar place.

in Word 2000, views/toolbars/customise as above, but ensure the middle option (menus show recently used commands first) is not ticked.
