fonts problem?

I deleted quite a few fonts out of the fonts folder, but when I go into Word it still has the fonts in the font list.

Thanks

Can you select and use one of the fonts that you deleted.

If you can them you may have deleted only one of its variations, Bold, Italic etc are seperate fonts, in the fonts folder, goto the view menu and choose hide variations.

If you can't it is probably because windows caches the font list, try rebooting first.

If that doesn't work, delete the file C:\WINDOWS\TTFCACHE.
The file will be inuse, so you will have to boot into dos / safe mode to delete it.

Downloaded
Ashampoo WinOptimzer 2000
cleaned the registry with it and it did the trick.
