Anyone who has seen the TV commercial and played the game must have noticed that there seem to be at least one major missing cinematic. In the commercial, the Xmen and Brotherhood fight Apocalypse in what is probably New York - but that isn't in the game, even after playing it to the end. A search through google didn't provide any answers to this, so I thought I'd ask those on the board who've played the game: 'what's up wit dat?'

Teaser Trailers aren't always in the games they seem to be in.

True. But it looked like it would be in the game. I can't understand why they didn't try and fit it in after taking the time and effort to make it. At first, I wondered if there was some difference between the PC and console versions in the cinematics, but that isn't likely.

Game companies do this often, making teaser trailers or fake gameplay footage to attract gamers. Sadly there's no way to tell sometimes unless the company is nice enough to insert 'Actual gameplay footage' in the bottom in fine print :^P I have seen this before, but not very often (like in the latest Splinter Cell commericals). It's not a standard yet, unfortunately.

This defiantly was never in the game. There's nowhere for it.....you don't fight Apocalypse in New York....

Well, part of the game takes place in New York. While I was playing, I kept half expecting the cinematic to appear during that part of the game.
