CrimsonSkies Oct 1st 2005, 11:07am Has anyone else seen this being published by Namco and developed by Black Hole????? I was just taking a look across gamespot.com and found it. Looks to be an amazing game. Also checked out the trailer on the namco site...
HOLY SHIT! it was amazing, the trailer was a brutal combat scene and definately worth the 30 seconds of my time....

doan_m Oct 2nd 2005, 11:03am Well, you can find screenshots on gamespot. Just look up Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. But there are no movies on the site. And the one on the Namco site is just some damn short cinematic teaser which doesnt offer much.

the Official Namco site said Winter 2006. Its a far cry from now.

Yeah, it was posted a month ago or so by me as I recall, but not many showed much interest. The major thing that is still up in there is whether the chaos armies will be able to take different makrs, if they are all khorne, or just straight undivided. Could I play an army of heavy hitting Nurgle worshippers or some pleasure seeking Slaaneshi followers.

I dunno, the Ponces could be interesting, frankly though, the Woodsies would have been vastly more fun, and actually a touch more appropriate, I don't actually recall the Ponces getting stuck in after the death of Asavar Kul, at most they would have sent Goku*cough*Teclis . Hell, I'm sure they sent him.
On reflection though, compared to the other races, the Ponces actually are kinda standard, nothing particularly iconic about them.
Its a pity Thanquol, as I'm aware, wasn't around back then, I think Skaven could be the best army in this game if done right. And I'm looking forward to seeing some Undead!

Its going to be kinda like Shadow of the Horned Rat, Orcs feature, but not as a main race, obviously I think because of the *meh* feeling yet ANOTHER Fantasy game featuring greenskins might generate,
