Samba printer sharing problems

Hi all,

I have a Canon i550 connected to Windows Professional 2000. Printer sharing is enabled with Windows printer sharing. I can see the printer when I look for it on my LAN with my Powerbook and I can print documents using the BJC-7100 printer drivers. The problem is that the documents are very faded and washed. Does anyone have any thoughts why this might be the case? Is there another way that I can share printers or does anyone have thoughts on how I can use a different driver?

have you tried changing the output settings in the print dialog? you can adjust the color settings there. I think you may be running into the difference in gamma between the PC and the MAC. You may have to calibrate accordingly if you are running through the PC.
