I am having problems organizing my buddy list with Adium and it is getting really annoying. Everything worked fine on my gaim client and even on the standard aol aim client. My users won't stay in the groups I put them in because when it signs off and on again they are back to the old group. When I move the buddies I get an "Unable To Add" error saying its unknown but possibly because I have to many people.. but I deleted a ton of buddies and still have the problem and I don't have this problem on any other clients.

You might get more help on the Adium forums...
I have similar issues with it, but never bothered to try to find the solution. I've noticed that sometimes if I repeat the same action twice, then it sticks. For example, I just moved some people from one group to another, and deleted the old group. I quit Adium, started it again, and got an error that the old group could not be deleted, and it asked me if I wanted to put the users back in the group. I said no, and deleted it again, and now the change took.

Is Adium working just fine with Tiger? I saw on a thread at a different forum site (MacCast.com) that a person was having Fire bring his system down after startup.

Adium works fine with Tiger.
0.80 was officially released today...it is a huge rework, that has been in progress since October 2004.
Go check it out.

Just letting everyone know that Adium 0.80 fixes all problems I was having! Also is totally kick-ass (after I had to redo all my settings)... It only transfers your account but not account settings.
