I'm using Tiger, and everytime i connect to Adium or Ichat behind our proxy server at work, it stays on for a few minutes and then just randomly disconnects. Eventually it does this enough times and makes me stay off for about half an hour.
The thing is, if i connect to AIM on my work PC, the thing NEVER disconnects. It only happens in OSX!
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've tried running Squidman to see if it would somehow stabalize the proxy server in OSX, I've made sure that all firewall functions were turned off, and a thousand other things. I'm at wits end now....any help would be greatly appreciated!

I hear you on this one. I haven't even been able to log on with iChat in Tiger. On Panther it would work just fine (if not a little flaky), but on Tiger it won't even connect. Just sits there and times out. So far I haven't found any solution via Goggle, but it seems that a lot of people are having this same problem.
