Exactly which iBook? Is it a clamshell G3, with the colored plastics? Is it a white G3 iBook? Or is it a white G4 iBook? What is it's clock speed?
(Some of the white G3 iBooks are the subject of an extended warranty from Apple because of problems with their motherboard.)
You say that your iBook won't load the system software the first time you press the power button. But you don't say what your iBook DOES do. Please tell us.
