Yes you read that right, finder restarts when you open macintosh hard drive or any local hard disk.
You can browse your user folder and applications but not the root drive.
I have repaired permissions. You can open any directoy using the GO menu and browse. I have tried running diskwarrior but there is a kernal panic. I have started in target mode and repaired using disk warrior. I have also deleted the finder.plist. The problem still occurs. You can view the whole directory structure using any program and by doing a ls in terminal.
Any ideas?
Finder log attached. I'm running out of ideas.

You should try the standard troubleshooting suggestions:
http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=2004011205473937
http://forums.osxfaq.com/viewtopic.php?t=7269
http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/faqs.html
In particular, be sure to try logging in as a different user to see if the problem exists there. (Create a new user via the Accounts preference panel if you only have the one user account so far.)
Also do "Repair Disk" (different from "Repair Disk Permissions"!) when booted from the Install CD.
See this Apple doc:

When the Finder is crashing, the first troubleshooting step is to rename Finder prefs and restart. The Finder prefs file is /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist.
Please run DiskWarrior while booted to the DiskWarrior CD, NOT from the local hard drive. If you are getting a kernel panic running DiskWarrior while booted to the DW CD, then you have some firmware or hardware problem.
Please let us know exactly what computer you are using and it's details, and what version of OS X you are running.

I have logged on with anohter user and the issue is still there. I ran Diskwarrior from the CD and it caused a kernal panic. I have every version of Diskwarrior out all the way up to 3.03. I eneded up running DISKWARRIOR in target disk mode to get the disks scanned and fixed.
I have deleted prefernces.
Anything new that I should try?

We have determined its ONLY when viewing folders in LIST mode. We have used PAcifist to fix our bindings and it worked on one drive, but not our second.
Thoughts?

Machine wont start from a hardware or install CD either. It locks up at the apple and fans turn on really loud. Also kernal panics with diskwarrior.
