it appears that DB.3 and db.3 appear in several .bom files in /library/receipts and their letter case causes them to be regarded, speciously, several times as perm repair runs. it's a pesky non-problem.

What about the locate file? Any thoughts?

as the locate db is updated via the maint scripts, it's access perms get changed to a different vector than what the installer receipt has for it. another non-problem, i believe.
