I now use a hardware router for my home network rather than a software router. All my active ports are stealth according to the Shields Up! web site. Is there any reason to use a software router for firewalling in addition to the hardware router?

Nope. You don't get better than 'stealth.' About all you could do would be to firewall yourself from devices internal to your LAN.

That's kind of what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation Craig.
