.....I could be on a Gateway trying this.
Navajo:
Thx for the info, but, I want ot ftp access (or just access) my computer at work from my DSL line at home. The work computer is connected to a server (running Redhat Linux) which is itself on a T3 line(s).
As for ssh, I tried to access my server at work using this protocol and it didn't work. Either they don't support it (blocked) or I'm just plain dumb and I'm doing it wrong. I can, however, telnet my server at work!
I've contacted the server admin here and I hope to get a response soon. Unfortunately I've just arrived in France and started work here and things do take their time, since my french is so poor. Time to finish those lessons ;)
I've been toying with the idea of setting up a private Carracho server and accessing that. Then again I'll probably have the same problems all over again. Nevermind.

I just realised I've posted this independently. Sorry. I wonder if the admin can place this in my FTP networking thread. Plz.
