My brother asked me to look into this, and I have looked as far as I can see. Maybe someone here has a big flashlight and can tell me how to proceed. :)
I am trying to compile the StegDetect source (either version) from:
http://www.outguess.org/download.php
I have compiled like three programs in my life, so I don't know much about what is going wrong with this process. I don't even know if it is possible.
If someone could let me know if this works for them, and maybe a hint on what to look into to get it working for me, I would be very grateful.
(I have installed the Developer Tools, the latest I think. I have XCode 2.0 at any rate.)

"fink install stegdetect". The fink compile-driver scripts suggest there's only a few small tweaks (that may not even be needed outside of fink?) if you were to attempt it manually.
it's also in darwinports (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org)
