Hi guys,
just a quick one.
What is the command to output a "live" output of the system.log to the terminal screen?

I've updated to a more recent gnu tail, but I think the following should do it.tail -n 25 -F /var/log/system.logConsole is generally more convenient for this. You can also use utilities like MkConsole or GeekTool to monitor system.log on your desktop.

thanks - yeah I'm trying to emulate what Geektool does in a widget in Tiger.
