Hy all,

does anybody know how I can change the behavior of the pageup/pagedown/home and end keys in terminal?
Under Linux, the mapping is :
home - go to beginning of the line
end - end of current line
pageup - scroll up in joe,less etc
pagedown - scroll down in joe,less etc

Terminal:Window Settings:Keyboard:Add

You want:
home = Control-A
end = Control-E
page up = Control-U
page down = Control-V

When I did this, the characters didn't show up in the display, but they were sent to the shell. So expect the text area under "Action: send string to shell" to be empty after you hit Control-A, for example.

I have a (Windows) USB keyboard and my 'alt' key doesn't show up in Terminal at all. This is a major, major pain because I use Emacs and it's kind of like missing half the arrow keys. Does anyone know how to get 'alt' working in emacs?
