I came inside to check if adaware had finished running and found that I'd been flicked off xtra.....maybe that was the problem.
Perhaps they are in holiday mode.

Xtra seemed to be fine here this morning( we have not had any disconnections)

unless it is the DNS server that goes down - most people use their ISP's DNS server & if that goes down, it effectively kills the net for them.
