If they are not on the Dell site and you can't find them anywhere in NZ, that probably means that you can't get them in NZ.
The only thing I can suggest although it is a little hard (and expensive?) is to import one from US/UK, they are US $2299 + shipping for the base model and for the advanced it is US $3054 + shipping, not sure exactly how much shipping would be sorry, but here (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/xps_m170?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd) is the link to the Dell US site.
