i like to encode/transcode videos but more(too much) with audio.
i trust that here in the forum have lots of people with competence to write good guides.
if the team like it,why not one forum for audio encodes/convertions?

drfsupercenter 17 Nov 2005, 07:00 AM Nero 7 can do 5.1? Awesome!
anonymez 17 Nov 2005, 11:01 AM think you need the 5.1 plugin for that (you do with 6.6)...
Sorry, I want to take a CD and upsample it to 2CH DVD Audio Quality. That pretty much sums it up.
TNT,
found somewhere over the rainbow(doom9 forum)this
GUIDE : *.DTS to *.WAV (DTS/WAV) (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=74017&page=1&pp=20guide).
seems very cool to burn as Audio-CD.
the only tool not free used is Minnetonka SurCode CD Pro DTS.

I'm sorry to have confused everyone here. Let me explain. When it comes to Video, I love surround sound with 5.1 speakers (or more). But when it comes to Audio, I'm a strict purist. I like Stereo (Two Channels). Two speakers, as clean as can be. What I was interested in doing was taking a CD and interpolating the data and increasing it to 24/96 from to 16/44.1. I would still keep it stereo, but play it off a DVD instead of a CD. I wouldn't ordinarily bring this up in this forum, but jeo asked.
TNT.

build your own menu, see the faqs!
with this prog you can build dvds in pcm 24/96(or ac3-5.1,your choice) using cds or any audio file.
test the trial first!
"Trial version limit: Only the first 5 titles, and the first 5 songs in each title will be created. After you purchase Audio DVD Creator, this limitation will be removed automatically."
more: with ADCTool(inside the program)you can convert your audio files to ac3(2ch or 5,1 at 640kb) or pcm(48k or 96k with 16bit or 24bit)
...why you don't listen to me?!?!? :rotfl:
best regards.
:)
OK thanks, will try it out when I have time.
