Not sure if this would work, but you could try Ulead Video Studio. You can batch-open the pics, I know you can add them to the project one by one, maybe you could do it as a batch.

I understand WinDVD Creator Gold does a good job - however, it is not freeware. There may be a trial though.

Trial.

virtualdubmod (freeware ofcourse) will very easily do the job, as long as your files are named correctly, eg xxxxx1, xxxxx2, etc ;)
just open the first frame, it should load all the rest automatically if they are in the same folder. set compression/filters, and you're on your way :)
make sure you tell vdubmod the correct framerate
ps the title of your thread is 'several pictures to an movie'. who calls 5000 frames 'several'?? :P

Well, I just downloaded VirtualDubMod, after swf2avi converted my SWF to 3,000 something Bitmap images. How do I load the pics as frames?

I AM talking about VirtualDubMod! There is an Open but that is to open a video file... not pictrue files. There is no "import frames" command or something like that. Trust me, I am not just being lazy and not reading this thread!

So Open Video File and then open the BMP image? Will it load all 3000 of the frames or not?
