DVDs wont play on an Alba DVD55

Hi

When I backup one of my DVDs, I find that I cannot use the copy on my Alba DVD55, yet it works fine on my PS2, and on the PC.

Any ideas as to why a copy of the DVD (have tried multiple) will not work on this player (the original is working fine)., yet works on PS2 and PC?

Theres one that stumps me alot. or it use to for playstation backups. Why a duplicate of something wouldn't run the same.

I usually find altering region settings works for dvds though.

I told someone the other day that some DVD players will not support some DVD's. Make sure your DVD player will play DVD RW plus and minus.

I just tried to backup Hitch with DVD43 and DVD Shrink.

Everything seemed fine, with no errors yet nothing will read thd DVD. Not even my PC. I'm using Sony DVD-R like always.

This was my first attempt with DVD43.

Any ideas?
