Help Its Still Not Working!!

I posted a board about me re doing my hard drive and now my drive won't open when i try to burn a movie..at first i didn't have nero hooked up but i finally put it on and it still doesn't work..it just says its saved and the drive never opens for me to put the blank cd in..i took nero off and dvd shrink and tried to put in another movie and its still not working..is there anything im doing wrong or missing?? can somebody please help me before the night is over !
