OK, you have DVDs and no longer have original miniDV tapes to capture to PC for editing with Adobe Premiere. There is no problem. You need 2 free excellent tool: DGIndex and VFAPIConvEn to frameserve your DVD to Adobe Premiere> Download them from here:

The procedure is very simple. Rip your DVD to HDD with DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink, open ripped DVD with DGIndex and use VFAPIConvEn to frameserve the file, and then open the file in Premiere for editing. One important thing to remember that during the entire process, never move or rename the files. Good luck
