My printer (Epson C86) is connected to my iMac (Intel dual-core) via USB.
The iMac is connected to my Netgear wireless router via Ethernet.
I have a PowerBook G4 which accesses the network wirelessly using an Airport card.
I can print fine from the iMac, but can't access the printer from the PowerBook. I have to plug the PB directly to the printer.
Printer sharing is turned on both on the iMac and PowerBook
Any ideas?
Thanks

If you're trying to connect to the printer using Bonjour (as opposed to TCP/IP, etc.), make sure your Netgear router is configured to bridge (and not route) the wired and wireless segments.

You normally only have to turn sharing on for the iMac. The PowerBook should be finding the printer through Bonjour. However, if the imac is connected via wire and the PB is via wireless, they may not be on the same subnet, which would explain why you do not see the printer on the iMac from the PB... SUB shared pprinters are accessible on the same subnet.. Other wise, you may have to use IP printing, type in the IP of the iMac followed by a / and then the network name of the printer you wish to connect to.

The PowerBook is running OS 10.4.3
I did a search for Bonjour, but nothing comes up
I read about it on the Apple website - how do I know if I've got it? (Or is it automatically in the OS?)

I DO see the printer on the PowerBook
and how do I know if I have Bonjour? A search turns up nothing. Is it part of OS 10.4?

Would it help if I disconnect the Ethernet cable from the iMac, and have it access the network wirelessly?

Yes: that would allow you to see the printer via Bonjour (so would putting them both on ethernet). If you can't do that, and you can't configure your access point to do 'bridging' then Raven's solution, above, is probably the best option.
