Tiger on Mac mini sometimes stalls

Hi i have a Mac mini with tiger....i sometimes get the spinning colours of death and the only way out is to unplug and restart. Is there any way to clean up....or identify the problem? Also where are the hard drive clean up or repair utilities in tiger? Cheers peeps....this site is v good :)

I think what you are looking for is /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app.

Any particular reason this is in the OS X Server forum? Are you running 10.4 Server? If not, this should be in the System forum. I believe there's a "locked" thread at the top of System that has some general troubleshooting steps for you to try.
