I was setting Ant classpath in the bashrc file then I closed the shell and restart my computer but now I can't access bashrc file anymore. It does not understand vi command any more. So I can't modify my classpath any more, please help.

It sounds like you introduced an error when editing the .bashrc file and this error has affected your PATH such that 'vi' is not found.

Use the full path to 'vi' (/usr/bin/vi) and edit the .bashrc file to fix the error.
