VHSC HI8 to DVD?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I don't know where to look.
How do I convert VHSC and Hi8 tapes to DVD? What do I need and how do I go about doing this? Any help? Please.

Well not knowing what you have for equipment, the quickest way I would suggest would be to use a stand alone DVD recorder. Others will chime in I'm sure on how to use a video capture card on your pc.
