hello. i have a question. i am reading in some VOB files. i am then opening them up in Vegas4 or Vegas 6 movie studio. my question is that when i read them in, even though i know that the video is lets say 15 minutes long, it shows the clip as 4 seconds. on another one it was 21 minutes long and it shows that it is 4 minutes long?
i dont get it. in either vegas 4 or vegas6 movie studio, it is the same results. i changed the .ext also but the same result. is there something i can do or have to do to make it read the entire video?

Sounds like the pointers are no good. Where did you get this VOB?
Try a mock strip - see link in my signature. You may need to create IFOs first.

hello, i tried that ifoedit. and still the VOB only reads a couple seconds. i read the VOB files in from a dvd with dvd decriptor, and i rad it in from nero and also roxio. i dont know what to do. i have 7 of those mini dvd's to edit and produce a product but cant get anything going.
