I currently have a LG9900 DVD player, and i am thinkng of upgrading to the Denon 1920. I have some question, hopefully someone can answer:

# With the Lg i can choose 576i, 576p, 720p and 1080i (on all DVD's after a button hack) Can the Denon do the same?

# If so, will it play back all DVD's in 720p or 1080i (not just un copy protected films)

I am thinking of the Denon, as I have the 1906 Av amp, and it upscales DVD's. It there a better one on the market around the same price?

Cheers in advance

The Denon runs through the following options when you repeatedly press the HDMI output button:
Off - 480/576P - 720P - 1080i

Hope this helps
