Sony DAV-S880 hanging problem

I have SONY DAV-S880 DVD home theatre system.

I'm rearly using it, 15 films in about 2 years. it's very clean, i cover it while not in use because i know dust is the first enemy of laser lenses.

recently it's hanging while playing most of DVDs. some times the same media plays will, some times not. the media is clean, just out of the box.

Some times it's playing will for one or one and a half hour then starting freezing for a few seconds and palying again then freezing for about 10 or 15 seconds and continue playing and so on.

when it hangs, it's completly stop playing and freez the picture in both Progrissive and interlace mode so i have to switch it off and on again.

some times working very good without any problem. Very Strange!! :confused:

I know about layer change, but not because of this.

The player is region free.

plaese help, it's still new in my openion, but out of warranty.

I will be very appreciate if some one help.
