X11 Mode and Gnome Questions

When I launch the X11 app it enters automatically in Full Screen Mode .

How can I switch it to rootless ?

Another question I have is how my .xinitrc file should look If I want to work

with gnome and the enlightenment window manager ??

I know It must contain the 'exec gnome-session' line ... anything else ?
