New telly at the weekend... all good, but bit disappointed with my old Panasonic S75 DVD player now. Looks pretty pants in comparison to Sky + (well certain channels anyway), so in the market for a new one.
Would like something about a ton as I can justify that to the missus , but 150 is ok too as I can just lie.
Tosh, Samsung 850, 950 are models I've had a quick glance at this morning as well as the Sony NS92V HDMI Player thread as well. Is this worth the extra wonga?
Suggestions, recommendations welcome. Many thanks :thumbsup:

I'd recommend the Oppo player - good value for money though a little more expensive than your budget.
BTW - I have a Panasonic S97 DVD player for sale in the classifieds...have a look if you're interested (sorry for the plug...;))

I ordered and recived the 850 today and throughly do not recommend it. I'm going to return it as soon as i can get my printer to print the returns label.
Faults with it:
no way to display time remaining on a disc - no way of telling if film is nearly over or has hours left. Annoying if time is an issue and you want to know should u stop watching it or finish watching it.
bright blue light in standby. - sux when using in bedroom like me
rewind/forward search is 2x,4x,64x then 100 something times 2 and 4 are far too slow and 64 and above are delayed so in effect its sometimes a shorter time skipping scenes.
These are not major flaws i admit but it is enough to not warrent to £70 where as my £30 one i bought 3years+ has none of these issues.
