Toshiba SD-350E won't eject DVD-R

I've got a DVD-R stuck in the SD-350E, when I press the open button the display first says 'Open' then 'Load' then 'Bad'.

However, if I press the open button then the play button shortly afterwards (less than a second) it says 'Load' and then 'DVD-R' then starts playing the DivX AVI on the disc (so I don't think the disc is actually bad.)

Anyone got any ideas? How do I force an eject?

Cheers,
Charlie.

have you tried unplugging it at the wall, waiting 5 minutes, and plugging it in again? This often resets players that are stuck.

Another method that sometimes works is to power off, hold in the "open/close" button then power on. What usually happens here is the player does the "open/close" bit before trying to read the disc.
