Pioneer 989 upgrade

Hi,

I heard in the grapevine the Pioneer DV-989 will be upgraded to 1080p scaling.

Does anyone know if existing owners of the older machines (like me) will be able to get a firmware upgrade (as Denon owners did)?

thanks,

Mike Paul

Wrong forum mate - this is for high def players rather than upscaling ones - try the Pioneer Owners forum (http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=282).

Mod - can you move this tread to the DVD SD forum.

Thanks,

Mike Paul
