I have the tosh and am pretty impressed, i am using the scart output, i'm hoping for a quality increase when i connect via HDMI, got mine from amazon for ?1 delivered, so thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, cant comment on the sammy though, hopefully someone can give you a direct comparison.

I haven't got a Tosh 350 but have the 340 and I am really dissapointed with it, it seems really picky on DivX's & DVD-R's, the build quality isn't the best, but it was cheap and ticked all the boxes, but I've never 'tutted' so much when watching stuff, they play fine on Xbox but start breaking up on the 340!
I wouldn't buy another one, even though it got top marks in some reviews?
Guess I could have had a duffer?
