I need a DVD as the title says really . Am expecting delivery of a Hitachi 32pd3000 which i bought off the forums on Wednesday, Would like to try an upscaling DVD player but all of the ones i have seen use HDMI or DVI which the Hitachi doesnt support it only supports VGA on which it can do Hi def.
The other option is a HDMI > VGA box which is ?50! so i would rather a DVD player with VGA . i have found a few on a popular auction site but not any besides that. The ones i have found are makes i have never heard of , can anyone recommend a good one?
Cheers

Yep,
A Xbox 360  , will upscale via VGA to 1080P and the HD-DVD addon will give you a better picture than that with HD-DVD's. :smashin:
Worth a try if you've got to use VGA, or fancy some decent gaming

i havent got an X-box 360 - not really much of a gamer. other wise that would be a great option, any other dedicated players?

Unfortunatley skyworth and Primare do not have VGA outputs, to add to the mix i need a VGA out put that outpus at 50hz!
trying to find out if the Yamada does it, but i can't find a detailed spec sheet
