No problems whatsoever to report, except that as it does not pass BTB (with the standard official firmware), it is hard to calibrate the TV (brightness) with this player using DVE (Digital Video Essentials).
However, I can say that the PQ via scart/rgb, although more detailed (more resolution) then my previous DVD player (Onkyo DV-535) whas not so "deep" (3D effect) and the colours where not so vibrant (even after proper calibration). At the end, I think that I preferred my "old" onkyo for PQ. IMHO.
Now, please take in consideration that I also think that the PQ via component connection on this player (to my panny SD plasma) is also not so good. IMHO.
You may ask then why I have one ?
Well, it is really a bargain for a universal player, and I was (still am) interested in SACD and DVD-Audio. Nowadays, I only use pioneer 575 to multichannel hi-res audio. Not to say it is good, but having nothing else to compare to at home ... btw, the CD SQ (via analogue outs) is also not so good. IMHO.
After all, it is a player that does everything, but doesn't do anything "right". But for the price, what would you expect ?
