Romantic group counceling sucked!

Well I tried a romantic group counceling and I got stuck in their with a bunch of negative complaining women and everytime I would say something (feedback etc.) They would criticize it and swap it down. Well the point is that I am a gay guy (As most everybody knows here by now) and well I just felt really nervous around a bunch of complaining negative women. I never even got the chance to voice my opinions EVEN When I spoke up they didn't let me finish WHICH was SO RUDE and then I never even got to tell them I was gay BECAUSE They didn't give me any time too. If I continued with the group I would have told them anyways but since I've quit it OH WELL. The problem is is that I felt like the bad guy here because they were all getting defensive and irate at my jokes and feedback (WHICH IS THEIR problem! If they are sensitive, or have low self esteem and I hurt their feelings then that is their problem they have to take ownership of WHY what I say hurts their feelings....it is usually about some past issue that brings them to light. AND NO I was not saying anything derogatory or rude. Well I am bombed out and exhuasted. Hope to read some replies later.
