Yep, this relationship is my damn brother. He's had jobs on and off, getting fired from all of them. Now the same thing has been going on with me, except getting fired. My last job went out of business. I'm soo tight on money right now that it's depressing me. My brother steals the money that I make from babysitting and other odd jobs. I cannot even afford Christmas presents. It pisses me off so much and my parents say that they have no control over him becasue we all know he'll just do it again. What can I do?! I don't always remember to bring my purse upstairs to my room. I got so much going on. Please help me from going completely poor!!!

The only solution would be to stop forgetting your purse. Have you considered opening a bank account?

I agree - start remembering the purse. And maybe find a hiding place for the money too - lockable if possible. Or put it straight in the bank and just withdraw as much as you need each time.
Direct deposit slips from a job are a gift from God.
I realize you can't exactly expect a parent you baby-sat for to pay with Interac, but *straight to the bank*.

First if my little brother stole my money i would kick the ***** out of him even though he is 6'3, 230. and if i couldn't my dad would! That is just rude and inconsiderate of your brother!! If i was you what i would do is get a small safe of a lock box. Keep anything worth anything in it. Keep money in it until you can put it in the bank. I used to do that when i had roommates. Its sad that people have to resort to that. Also like everyone else said BRING YOUR PURSE TO YOUR ROOM and as soon as you get home put your money away where he can't get it.
